Ingredients
3 cups Cheerios
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
Instructions
Prepare the Pan
Line an 8 X 8 inch pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Set aside.
Melt Peanut Butter and Honey
In a medium saucepan, heat the peanut butter and honey over medium heat until they are melted and well combined. Stir continuously to ensure a smooth mixture.
Add Cheerios:
Remove pan from heat, and stir in Cheerios until they are evenly coated with peanut butter and honey mixture.
Press into Pan
Transfer Cheerio mixture into prepared pan
Press down firmly and evenly into pan using a spatula or back of a spoon.
Chill in Refrigerator:
Cover pan and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour or until it is firm and set.
Cut into Bars
Once chilled, lift the parchment paper or foil to remove the set mixture from the pan. Place it on a cutting board and cut into bars or squares using a sharp knife.
Store in refrigerator
Keep any leftovers stored in the refrigerator to maintain their shape and freshness
