I made this Marry Me Chicken recipe for my girlfriend when I planned to propose. It was the perfect choice—creamy, flavorful, and utterly romantic. The tender chicken in a rich sauce made with sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan created a memorable meal that set the stage for a very special evening.

Ingredients:
6 chicken thighs
Seasonings to taste: onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika, Italian herbs
Olive oil
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp fresh minced garlic
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
Sun-dried tomatoes
1 tbsp white cooking wine
1/2 cup fresh shredded Parmesan or Italian cheese
Salt and pepper
Italian herbs
Directions:
Generously season chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-sear the chicken thighs on both sides until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a separate baking pan.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 3 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and heavy whipping cream. Add a dash of salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Allow the mixture to simmer gently.
Gradually add the shredded cheese to the sauce, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Pour the sauce over the seared chicken thighs in the baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes.
Serve the chicken hot over mashed potatoes, perfect for a delightful meal.
Enjoy this heavenly “Marry Me Chicken” that’s as romantic as it is delicious!
