Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:

Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and creamy.
Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too crumbly, you can add 1-2 teaspoons of milk to bring it together.
Shape the Cookies:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Flatten each ball with the back of a fork, creating a crosshatch pattern on the top.
Bake the Cookies:

Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
