•INGREDIENTS:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
•INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Arrange a layer of the thinly sliced potatoes at the bottom of the dish.
Spoon half of the cooked ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
Spread half of the cream of mushroom soup over the beef mixture.
Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, ground beef, and cream of mushroom soup.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender.
Remove the foil during the last 10-15 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown slightly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
