•INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1 lb deveined shrimp
3 cups broccoli florets
1 pack of smoked sausage
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp cornstarch
•INSTRUCTIONS:
Make marinade sauce with all the ingredients besides the last 6 ingredients.
Add shrimp to 1/3 of the sauce and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Whisk cornstarch into remaining sauce and put aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat add oil and then broccoli. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Remove from skillet and put aside.
Add butter and cook shrimp & sausage on each side about 2 minutes, until shrimp are pink and form a “c” shape.
Add in remaining sauce and simmer 2-3 minutes. Add in broccoli and toss with other ingredients.
