GARLIC BUTTER STEAK WITH CREAMY MASHED POTATOES

•INGREDIENTS:
– 2 ribeye steaks
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
– Salt and pepper, to taste
Mashed Potatoes:
– 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
– 4 tablespoons butter
– ½ cup heavy cream
– Salt and pepper, to taste

•INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter and cream. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
3. Add butter, garlic, and herbs to the skillet. Baste the steaks with garlic butter for another minute.
4. Serve the steaks with mashed potatoes, drizzling any remaining garlic butter over the top.
