Ingredients:

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1-inch thick)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:
Prepare the Steak:

  1. Season the Steaks: Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides of each steak with Cajun seasoning, pressing it into the meat.
    Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C).
    Add Butter and Garlic: Reduce the heat to medium, add the butter, minced garlic, and fresh thyme or rosemary (if using). Baste the steaks with the melted butter for an additional minute.
