Corn Nuggets Recipe



1 can (11 ounces) creamed corn

1 can (11 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained

1/2 cup yellow cornmeal

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying


Prepare the Batter:

In a mixing bowl, combine the creamed corn and drained whole kernel corn.

Gradually add the yellow cornmeal, stirring until well combined.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly.

Shape the Nuggets:

Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large, deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Using a spoon or your hands, shape small portions of the corn mixture into nuggets or small patties.

Fry the Nuggets:

Carefully place the shaped corn nuggets into the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Drain and Serve:

Once the corn nuggets are fried to perfection, remove them from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
